I originally contracted InterServer for setting up a WordPress service for me and getting an online shop done and dusted. Well, turned into a nightmare of we didn't promise that, we don't know how to do this... we can install WordPress but WooCommerce we don't customize, lots and lots of different things. So finally I just gave up and asked for a refund; the refund came thankfully.
FatCow is really super; I love the fact that their servers are fueled by natural energy; they don't generate green house gases and that for me is really super important. Definitely worth using and highly recommend them... not only because of their attention to nature, but because the fact that they have an AMAZING support team who is there for you 24/7.
I've been using new service for a little over year. There haven't been any glitches or outages yet. They were a little slow and support chat this morning getting my SSL certificate loaded and it was easy and super helpful team. The prices of their service is great as well. I strongly recommend them to anyone I come across who needs this service.
I have had many web hosting companies in the past, many of them, I've signed up for and within a week, I've been using their 30-day money back guarantee. However, I've been with InMotion now for over a month (and that's a really long time for me) and they only just keep coming up with better services all the time. Like last month, when I signed up, I was having some issues with connectivity, but they showed me it was my ISP causing the problems and that got solved by itself within 24 hours, they moved my domain, they transferred my hosting account. Really Did a lot for me and Im happy to be a loyal customer of theirs.
Excellent - professional, effective, and dedicated service. Mirko helped me very quickly and pointed me in the right direction to solve my issues. I really wasn't used to that level of service from my previous host that I just left.
SiteGround has hosted my sites for months for a number of years; SiteGround support is second to none, thats pretty much why I've stuck around with them for so long. Really great support for a old guy like me. The support has been prompt and easy to deal with. Love them.
Building and having built responsive websites, I can admit that one of most important features of any website is having a great platform to be hosted from. One such web hosting provider is SiteGround. Having used SiteGround for many many years, I've been able to understand why my few bucks that I pay really doesn't matter for the level of service that I receive. Another such important service that you get is uptime, which is vital for any website service to work and function day or night. Having checked the hops and pings via Terminal and Pingdom, I've found that they are one of the best connected web hosting providers that I've at least come in contact with!
Support has always been terrific with me, everytime I call they k now how to solve the problems and address the the issues there and then. There was only one time I remember that they had to create a ticket and escalate it to L3 support, which actually got back to me within 20 mins! So well chuffed!
I had no choice but to move to GreenGeeks as my web hosting provider was going out of business. Unfortunately, I had like 15 days to move my site before their service was to be shutoff. As such, I ran into GreenGeeks. With their free account migration service, I got my websites moved... and the part that was surprising to me... was the fact that they moved 35 cPanel accounts for nothing, not even a penny... that in my book is worth a tremendous amount.
Green Geeks have really helped me find a way forward, previously I was hosting with my old web reseller account. As such; I was like literally stuck, because on the reseller account, you can't do this, you can't do that... and all this was making me really frustrated. So I started looking around for a new web hosting company, and I came across Green Geeks. At first they looked like they didn't even have a clue, but when I started to look in my closely, I found that they had a lot of great reviews and such. From t here, I signed up and gave them a shot. I've been with them for 8 years now.
I have been with them for 6 months and they offer great customer service. The service is online and the easy of use of cPanel has helped me lift the website traffic which is really important to me in an organically grown business. Really good service provider, one I don't mind spending a little extra on.
Not a terrible hosting company, but certainly not one of the best either. The company is slightly more expensive than normal web hosting providers, things that annoy me are; there is no FTP access, only sFTP access. There is no ASP support (normally can be provided via apache), there is extensive domain renewals.. so go figure who you want to host with.
