Dedication to customers has made WebHostingPad a unique offering in the market. While WebHostingPad isn’t one of the largest web hosting players, they certainly know how to pack a punch in the reliability and uptime sphere. Having been founded in 2005, WebHostingPad has grown considerably and fairly recently has branched out into new services and offerings such as; WordPress Hosting, VPS Hosting, and Email services.
WebHostingPad Technical Analysis
Steadfastness is what sets WebHostingPad apart from the crowd. As such, we at WebHostingToolBox are huge fans of them for that very reason. As can be seen below, WebHostingPad isn’t the largest web hosting provider, more along the lines of a boutique web hosting provider. However, that does allow you to feel more at home and less like your just another number in the crowd.
Total Domains
Nothing is as easy as providing spectacular web hosting services to your clients and watching their online businesses flourish. This is why WebHostingPad’s main objective is to provide a reliable and stable web hosting service.
So here's what we think...
WebHostingPad is one of the best budget web hosting providers in the market currently. As a result of their “introductory” pricing, they are a great pick for webmasters looking to try out new projects online or small businesses looking to get established online without overcommitting. Having the choice from; Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Email Hosting, and VPS Hosting, you know that your project/business can grow with WebHostingPad.
WebHostingPad comes with a money back guarantee, which you can use within 30 days of signup should you feel uncomfortable or unsure of the services that WebHostingPad provides. Being packed with excellent support resources and support staff, we would find it hard to believe should you actually want to or need to use the money back guarantee.
Uptime & Reliability:
When it comes to running your project online, it’s important to have at minimum 99.9% uptime for your website to function. That’s why WebHostingPad puts its money where its mouth is and offers; compensation for any unexpected or unplanned maintenance windows or outages. We don’t believe they have yet paid out a single penny, as from our independent monitoring platform, we’ve not seen WebHostingPad cross into that threshold as yet (although they were fairly close one time).
When it comes to infrastructure, you’ll find that WebHostingPad doesn’t cut corners. They have some of the latest servers available in the market, boasting SSD (Solid State Drives) Drives, and vast amounts of memoryThat’s not even mentioning the vast networking infrastructure that is constantly being monitored and maintain to ensure the best quality of service possible.
Features:
While they have expanded their offerings, they have always stuck to their core belief that web hosting accounts should come with “unlimited’ or as they like to call it “Oodles” of disk space, bandwidth and email addresses which we believe is a great thing. However, they do nowadays offer WordPress Hosting, VPS Hosting, and Dedicated Servers. Making life simpler not only for webmasters, but also for larger clients that may need that like bit more “Oddles” to make their site work faster.
Overall in our opinion FatCow has a great and scalable offering that will allow any webmaster take advantage of the services they have and grow with FatCow instead of growing out of them.
Pricing:
Pricing is one big key factor of WebHositngPad’s success, they really do know how to provide value in their services. Looking at the long term? In that case, take a look at their 2,3,4, and 5-year plans, you can save yourself around 50% on your web hosting fees.
Interested in saving, but don’t want any extra costs? In that case, we suggest keeping an eye out on the checkout process to make sure there is no “extras” that are included by default. Needless to say, WHOIS privacy and other features are nice to have, but only when you’re not in a pinch for the few extra bucks it’ll cost on a monthly basis.
Support:
Support is really important, that’s why WebHostingPad makes it easy for their customers to get in contact with them, via live chat, ticketing system (email), and phone 24/7 to their US based customer service center. So if you’re looking at resolving something quick, go ahead, give them a call and you’ll be glad you did.
Additionally, WebHostingPad has oodles of support resources, such as; video tutorials, learning resources, knowledgebase, and a plethora of other support options that can help resolve most questions quickly. Should you be willing to try to resolve them on your own.
User Friendliness:
WebHostingPad wants to make things simple and easy, that’s why it choose cPanel as its control panel. Using cPanel, you’ll be able to quickly navigate the terrain of setting up email accounts, MySQL databases and a plethora of other features and options.
Don’t forget, you can easily upgrade or downgrade between web hosting plans, so you can rest assured that you’ll not have to ever move web hosting providers again.
Summary:
Ideal for webmasters on a budget, WebHostingPad offers you a vast amount of features and functions based upon your needs and wants for one affordable fee. Furthermore, don’t forget that WebHostingPad offers more than just web hosting, they also offer VPS plans, meaning if you’re looking for that little extra kick, a VPS plan might be the right web hosting plan for you.

So what do other Webmasters think?
Loved their transfer process, their transfer process was incredible and fast. From the time I signed up, paid, and got the welcome (activation) email, I think that no more than 30 mins had passed. Then after that, It literally look about 15 mins to get my ENTIRE WEBSITE transferred over to WHP. 30 mins! That's crazy, I couldn't even go to the local grocery store that fast! I think their a solid company. Thanks gals/guys.
I had some plugin errors on my WordPress website, and one of them was causing some serious issues, making the entire website and dashboard completely inaccessible. Tony was able to quickly find the issue and resolve the problem. It made me understand that I always need to make a backup before I do anything in the future.
I've been hosting websites on the internet since 2007, and since that time, I've had my fair share of amazing, more or less, and pretty lousy website providers. Godaddy and Name.com were the first that I used, their support departments where hard to work with, slow, and quite frankly a pain. So I decided to switch to less well known web hosting providers and came across WHP. WHP gave me the flexibility that I needed to run my online business but also to keep everything moving without delay.
My website was offline for around 20 mins the other day, I couldn't access cPanel, my website, or anything else. I called technical support and Martin helped me get everything sorted out. Pretty fast service, thanks guys!
Not a terrible hosting company, but certainly not one of the best either. The company is slightly more expensive than normal web hosting providers, things that annoy me are; there is no FTP access, only sFTP access. There is no ASP support (normally can be provided via apache), there is extensive domain renewals.. so go figure who you want to host with.
I got my website hit with DDoS and literally was told that I had to move my website or I was going to have it deleted. So you can imagine; Im a quite angry at the really... why is it whenever there is a problem they just want to cut and run? All I run is a ATV website?! What gives......
I've had WHP for many many years. They are the absolute cheapest web hosting provider you can find on the market. Their service has always been immediate and respectful. They know what their doing; and I can say that without them I would truly be lost in the web hosting space. Good Guys, Good Service, and excellent focus. That's how I would describe WHP.
They offer amazing customer service at a very unique price point not even starting to mention their customer support team, which is beyond reproach in my opinion. Very reliable and very friendly service. Kudos to them for everything that they have done for me and are doing in general for customers like myself everyday!
These guys have it figured out, they are like no other web hosting company that I've seen or have hosted with. They know what they are doing, how they are doing it. These guys provide excellent web hosting services and uptime. I'm really proud of hosting with them and keeping connected with them.
I've been using multiple accounts on WebHostingPad, I have some light duty websites with them, nothing overly heavy. However, many times I face a problem of not being able to access the website when I got to my website. This happens for customers of mine as well. Makes my business look quite bad and also that I'm looked like a fool. I have lost many sales because of this problem. So I spoke with customer service and they are trying to find a solution, but this is the 5th week and nothing has been done.
Thank you for letting me share my feelings about this company. This company is probably a excellent example of amazing marketing. Its true, they have amazing marketing; but the problem is there is little professionalism to support that every growth. Their service is ok, apart from their support, which lacks and often is quite rude. Don't enjoy being hosted by them, but if the stability wasn't like it is, I would have left.
They are more or less, you have to be careful. Cons; they have a really paranoid security system that just banns IPs at what seems random times and places for supposedly suspicious activity. That was normal at the other web hosting account, but I didn't think it would plague me here too. When you delete a cron job, it still may run, so if you get banned for running a cron job, you might get that again too. Their system messes with cron jobs, which impacts services sometimes, if its not within their cronjob policy frame. So overall, there is a lot of stuff that you should be careful with them about, but overall they are stable...
