InMotion Hosting

Hi; Ive been using inmotionhosting since 2011 its been about 7 years now, so I thought today would be the day I would write a review about them. All I can really report on is that they are a great company, there has been a lot of support that I've requested over the years, they provided me 24/7 support always and their servers have stayed online. I honestly, cant' say that they havn't been a blessing.

I've been recommending them to all my friends over the years and I am still continuing to do so.

Not very happy; they stole money from me! They charged me one price when I signed up; then charged me another price when I renewed! They told me, if I was going to cancel, I would have to pay for my domain name, If I wanted to transfer it. I was like whattttt? Are you crazy?

Anyways; im quite chilled out about the entire thing now, but I didn't like having this happen as I had to pay a surcharge as I didn't have enough money in my account... So they cost me; renewal of hosting + surcharge fee...

Nothing but success working with In Motion Hosting, special requests and configurational changes have always been done quickly and without recourse. The people have always been professional and supportive of any of the issues that I ran into. I have three sites a blog (WordPress), a forum (phpBB), and a Drupal site... and all three of them are hosted on the same web hosting account and all three of them work fine and never really had any issues. The one time I did have issues... I called their support and spoke with a Mark Thesslov there and he got my problem fixed within a couple of mins. Honestly, if your looking for a new home for your website, they are worth a try.

Finding a reliable LAMP provider is a process that has never been easy; its like finding a web programmer, there are many of them out there, but their experience and how to make things work the way you want them to is complicated. However, when things get running they are always running perfectly, until the web host changes something. In the case of InMotionHosting, they have been spectacular when it comes to hosting services. Can't say that I would want to change or replace them for any other web hosting provider.

Having a CVN repository on my web hosting VPS is quite an advantage to me and my small team. Since we all work remotely, It was something that all of us needed to be able to collaborate. After some research, I came across InMotionHosting's VPS offering, at first I was a little iffy, but then having read some reviews, I decided to give it a shot and got it for a month. I've had this account for over 2 years now, and not had any problems with outages.

LAMP environments are always excellent for hosting, they are stable vs. windows hosting environments. That's why I decided to choose a host that I've been with many projects previously. In Motion Hosting has been a company and organization that I've used for many many years... and their services are impeccable... and beyond reproach when it comes to uptime, server stability (performance) and most importantly customer support, which I must admit over the years I've had to use on several occasions.

Customer service is iffy at best; they prefer you send them a ticket rather than you call them, they tell you to open a ticket first. I've been hung up on a couple of times. They ended up suspending my service, so I just cancelled it. Unfortunately, I didn't have any backups... so I lost my entire site thanks to them! The support team pretends there is no manager?! I don't know what kinda show they really run? Im not happy overall in general!

My motto is and always has been you get what you pay for; and that's very true in this particular case. Their customer service is very skilled, especially when it comes to plugins within WordPress; they have saved me a lot of time. They haven't even been offline in 3+ years that I've been hosted with them, they are rock solid.

InMotion has been my online partner for years; why, you may ask, and I'll tell you. They are bloody amazing, their service is wicked fast and solid. They have been very reliable in terms of their uptime and their customer service, which I have to admit is second to none. Bloody amazing deal for $20/mo, (practically nothing).

only been with inmotionhosting a little while, but I have to say that they have been really super so far. Their technical support is superb... perfect I would say. no downtimes, no issues, Im glad I moved to them.

The auto-installer is something that I've never seen before, its really fantastic. It works flawlessly and I am very satisfied with the level of support that I'm receiving from them. In motion is a pretty sick web host. I've already recommended their services to my friends and people I work with. Give them a try, you'll be happy you did.
