I've made the switch to HostGator only for one reason, because of the speed of their servers. Their servers are blazing fast, and for my website speed is really important. HG makes my site load fast, I've tested it with several external monitoring services, and the result is that HG is twice as fast as my previous host. A++ to them. Plus, their support is really fantastic!

hostgator is good, been using them for 3/4 years now. They have been no trouble at all to me. They have always the tools to solve any problems that I come in contact with. Their is a small learning curve when you start moving with them... but overall they are there to make things easier. Their video tutorials and such are really good and I've learned quite a bit from them. For something that costs only a few bucks a month... I don't think that you can probably find a better deal out there.

I originally signed up with HOSTGATOR 3 years ago. When I first started with them, I was over the moon with the level of service and speed of their servers. As the years progressed, their service became subpar climaxing at being offline for 4 days. STAY AWAY

HostGator is cheap, fast, easy to use, and has the backing of a responsive and well trained support team. I have two sites hosted at APLUS.NET at the moment, and I'm thinking of moving them over to HG because they are really crap since they got purchased. However, there is still hope for them, in the form of everyone should "ABANDON SHIP!" ahaha

I've only been with them for a short time and I can't say enough about how much I love them already. I came from a web hosting company that really really let me down, they almost destroyed my business. Finally, when they were up enough, I backed up everything and switched over to HostGator. I've not looked back since!

I used the migration services offered by HostGator... they suck. I've moved all my web hosting accounts to HostGator, well at least they moved them for me... but I switched to HostGator... and I must say that they are a real pain in the ass. They messed up one of my sites that I had to literally remove everything and move it again. Wasn't the most pleasant experience for sure. Apart from the initial migration mess, I got moved and they have worked pretty much flawlessly after that.

Top notch support and service; After trying about 5 different web hosting companies in the past. I finally settled on using HostGator as my web hosting provider, because they have more benefits and less drawbacks than anyone else I've seen in the market. I've used HostGator for quite a number of years and only experienced infrequent outages and issues. I host about 5 - 10 different websites using my account, because of the addon feature that's provided to me by HostGator. The support has been really outstanding and helpful! I've been meaning to upgrade, but not quite made it as yet... due to my budget constraints. Great uptime and work!
