The process for changing your FTP password is quite simple and straightforward. However, you will need to ensure that you already remember your existing FTP password to make the change. Please follow the step-by-step guideline outlined below in order to make this happen:
- Login to your cPanel web hosting account
- Locate the section called "Preferences" within cPanel
- Once there, click on "Change Password" Icon
- Input all the required details, and click "Change your password now!"
- Once this password has been changed for your web hosting account, your FTP password will also have gotten changed to the new one. So please use the new FTP password next time you connect to your web hosting account using FTP.
