They say they only charge for clicks received but once you sign-up your credit card is charged every month regardless of amount of click activity. When I complained about this all my remaining clicks (prepaid by credit card) suddenly were used up in a 72 hours by unheard of search engines. Before I complained I was receiving a small amount of quality clicks from Yahoo (10 clicks in a 10 day period). The majority of the bogus clicks were within seconds of each other. It is obviously a case of click fraud. Avoid these folks at all costs!!! |

Actually, they don't charge you for any clicks, contrary to what the previous review mentions. SiteToolbox involves a monthly subscription fee, which they warn you about when you sign up; in fact, you can't even create an account unless you check a box at the end of the signup processing that states you have read and understood their TOS and that you agree to be automatically billed for the service.
Neither the banner nor the search engine tool require that you "pay for clicks received". You pay a subscription price that includes all of the tools - no matter whether your site gets one click or none, you pay the same price.
I think it's a great service and that you get EXACTLY what is advertised. A good pick for those just starting out - it's really user friendly! |
