Confusion in the company - 2004-09-12

I have a project that is currently being worked on. It was supposed to be completed by August 15, 2004. It is now September 12, 2004 and it is not completed. At the same time, the client manager who was working with me suddenly disappeared and is no longer with the company. She was the one that sent me an email telling me about what happened and not the next person. There is no other way to contact the, because this company is supposedly registered to do business in the US, but is just a front corporation out of Oregon, USA. The real company is in Belarus. Although nice people and good work so far, the level of committment with clients is not that good. It's difficult to trust an offshore company as it is, because you never know what you are going to get. Make sure your contracts stipulate a late fee charge on them to penalize them for being late. We'll see just how good they are and I'll be back to post the results as soon as I can. |
